MICHAEL PEACOCKMike is a biogeochemist researching gaseous and fluvial carbon and greenhouse gas cycling in ponds, rivers, streams lakes and ditches. He also works on peatlands, with a focus on management and restoration
|
Pia Geranmayeh (Kynkäänniemi) evaluates measures to mitigate nutrient losses from agricultural land to waters. Specifically her research is focusing on how good design and placement of constructed wetlands increase their efficiency in reducing nutrient losses from fields. She has also worked as project leader at an environmental consulting firm helping farmers and municipalities to plan, design and construct wetlands.

Joachim Audet is a researcher at Aarhus University, Denmark. His research is about nutrient transformations and greenhouse gas emissions in fresh waters with a particular focus on restored wetlands in agricultural landscapes.
|
Malgorzata Blicharska has been working with biodiversity conservation, environmental policy implementation, public participation in environmental decision-making, policy coherence, organizational learning related to implementation of new policies and concepts (with focus on ecosystem services and natural capital), conservation conflicts, spatial planning for conservation, ecosystem services and SDGs. She has vast experience in engaging stakeholders in research projects, through stakeholder workshops, focus groups, interviews, questionnaires and Delphi survey.

Dr. Dennis Collentine is an Associate Professor at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in the Department of Soil and Environment. He is an economist working primarily on multi-disciplinary research with a focus on agri-environmental policy analysis. He has worked for 20 years with interdisciplinary research related to evaluation of environmental policy with a particular emphasis on the impact of agri-environmental measures on water quality. In the WetKit project, his work will focus on the development of a tool to evaluate and aggregate the multiple benefits from constructing wetlands in agricultural landscapes. This tool will allow the ranking of potential sites based on stakeholder weighted priorities.
